Eaton Smith are delighted to be a sponsor of the MCV/Develop Women in Games Awards 2024, which are themselves celebrating their 10th Anniversary! Whilst we may not be game developers ourselves, we work with many people from across the games space and we want to celebrate the continuing increase of women involved in the games sector, together with the diversification of the game development community. Games and making games should be for everyone and these Awards are evidence of the central involvement and essential influence that women have in the industry.

It is important that the hard work, dedication and successes of women across the whole range of games-related activities – from development to HR and from journalism to mentoring, to name just a few of the categories – are put front and central. As a long-standing contributor to the UK games ecosystem and helping out clients with their legal needs, Eaton Smith want to play our part in celebrating and promoting the achievements of women in games, not to mention playing our small part in therefore encouraging women into the games industry, whether that may be in development with its myriad of opportunities there, publishing, HR, communications or otherwise.

Congratulations to all nominees and we look forward to celebrating your achievements at the Awards!

The 2024 Women In Games Awards are taking place at the America Square Conference Centre in London on Thursday 26th September. We’ll be announcing the shortlisted candidates next month.
