Final Fantasy V PC port heading to Steam next week

Square Enix is bringing Final Fantasy V to PC next week via Steam release.

The publisher has set up the game’s Steam store page and is offering a 10 per cent discount for those that purchase before its release on September 24th.

The game itself is a port of Final Fantasy V’s remake, released for Game Boy Advance in 2006. The new release will include the GBA version’s extra dungeon, an optional boss, Steam achievements, trading cards and updated controls and a newly optimized active-time battle system for an even more fluid PC experience.”

FFV joins the PC editions of FFIV: The After Years, FFVII and FFVIII on Valve’s digital distribution service.
