EA, Ubisoft, Epic, 9You, Shanda and other key Chinese games industry development companies will be out in force at August’s Game Developers Conference China.
The event is co-produced by GDC organiser CMP and IDG, running from August 27th to 29th at the Shanghai International Convention Centre. The event includes a conference and middleware expo and recruitment fair.
Epic Games China’s Jun Hao Liao will lead the outsourcing track in a session called ‘Design and Production Pipelines in Next-Gen Game Environment’. Meanwhile, Xiang Wang, senior programmer a Netease heads up the online track with ‘Anti-Hacking and Anti-Cheating: Programming for Online Games’.
