Disney Channel will debut a new TV show on August 27th, which will see four families competing in Nintendo Switch games.
To participate in the Nintendo Switch Family Showdown, families can submit a video explaining “why they are the ultimate Nintendo fans.” The video can be up to one minute in length and has to be submitted before July 1st. Head to the competition’s official website to learn more.
Four families will be selected and flown to Los Angeles, with the opportunity for the kids to meet their “favourite Disney Channel stars”, the official announcement said. It also gave a few examples of the type of challenges they’ll be facing: “Searching for collectibles in Super Mario Odyssey, competing in head-to-head matchups in Mario Tennis Aces and participating in dance-offs in Just Dance 2018.”
The Nintendo Switch Family Showdown will be featured on Disney Channel and Disney XD and streamed on the DisneyNOW app.
