German game publisher InnoGames has announced record revenues of €130m for 2016 in their yearly financials, released today.
InnoGames point out this shows a year-on-year growth for the 10th consecutive year, although with 68% year-on-year growth it’s their most successful 12-month period in the history of the company.
It’s been a successful year for InnoGames, who have branched from online and browser gaming into mobile and InnoGames now say that players have spent 600m combined playing the six games the company currently operate.
"Since we founded the company in 2007, InnoGames was able to profitably grow each and every year," says InnoGames CEO Hendrik Klindworth in a statement. "2016 has been the most successful year in our company’s history, with the results surpassing our own very ambitious goals.
"As InnoGames turns 10 this year, our focus is on our upcoming mobile-only titles and sustainable growth. All in all, we plan to fill 50 new job positions in our offices in Hamburg and Düsseldorf this year."
