[From the industry] Jingle Jam 2024 begins with over £750,000 raised on Night One, as best-ever Games Collection revealed

This is a press release posted in addition to our usual editorial content.

The 2024 Jingle Jam began on December 1, 2024, with the fundraising spectacle raising more than £750,000 over the course of its first evening and much more to come for the event’s eight charity partners over the following days.

Jingle Jam unites the worlds best games, creators and their communities for two weeks of entertainment that powers a lifetime of change. More than 1,000 creators have signed up to raise money for a host of incredible causes through streams and events over the next fortnight.

Viewers are encouraged to donate as much as they are able to, with the first 100,000 people to donate £35 or more receiving a copy of the Jingle Jam 2024 Games Collection.

“I’d like to thank our publishing partners, including Curve Games, Fireshine and Secret Mode, for their contributions to our best-ever Charity Games Collection. There’s so much fun still in store over the next couple of weeks, so be sure to get involved.”

Some of the events taking place this week as part of the Jingle Jam include TommyInnit playing Minecraft with the late Technoblade’s dad on Friday 6 December in support of Sarcoma UK, Talia Mar streaming for CALM on Wednesday 4 December, and RTGame and The Spiffing Brit playing chat-controlled Magic The Gathering on Saturday 7 December.

Proceeds will go towards supporting The Jingle Jam’s 2024 eight charity partners: War Child, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), Autistica, Cool Earth, Sarcoma UK, The Trevor Project, Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal and Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC).
